A Sales Job

It's hard, but rewarding.  There are high up's and the low of lows.  People who do like regularity, need not apply.

I have a very outgoing personality, great attitude and enjoy meeting new people.  This goes well with a sales profession.

There was a lot of uncomfortable situations at first, but they all come natural.

Mrs. Rooselvelt said it best, "Do one thing every day that scares you."

That will help you get over a lot of obstacles in life and in sales.

Nashville Weather

WTF?!?!?  What is the deal with all the tornado warnings/watches in the area so early in the year?

I hope that the mild winter doesn't in turn involve a longer, more dangerous spring that includes tornadoes and violent weather.

Getting Colder Outside

It's unseasonably warm tonight, but it's getting colder as we speak!  The weather is changing, football season is in full swing and no one wears shorts anymore.

It's about time that the weather has changed.  Since moving to the south, I have yet to really get adjusted from the cold Michigan nights to the blistering hot summer days that Tennessee has to offer (yet I'm getting used to it).

This winter, I have a few goals of my own.  I want to lose a few pounds instead of putting them on in the winter, I want to run a 5k in the spring, I want to excel at my new position (life insurance agent) and meeting a lot new people!

I think that a lot of other single people have the same desires that I do, but I think if you right them down, you will have a better chance at completing those goals.  So that's why I have started to write on here...  Until next time...

Off Topic A Little Bit

I know this post is a little different than the usual self promoting posts, but I've got the football fever these days.  I'm hoping my Detroit Lions will live up to their hype.  It's disappointing that Mikel LeShoure blew out his ankle, but isn't that the curse of the Lions.


Many recent draft picks have been injured early in their career, LeShoure, Charles Rogers, Teddy Lehman, Matt Stafford, Jahvid Best, etc.  I know that injuries are a part of the game, but it seems that the injury bug has nested in Detroit (probably in one of those abandoned buildings).


To go along with the hype, I just ordered a Suh jersey to wear and intimidate people in my new town of Nashville, TN.  I went a little crazy and ordered a Datsyuk jersey too for this winter.
